Washington (Web Desk): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by Field Marshal Asim Munir, held a significant meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House, where both sides engaged in wide-ranging discussions on regional security, conflict resolution, and economic collaboration.

According to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting was held in a cordial and constructive environment. Prime Minister Sharif praised President Trump’s bold leadership in helping to de-escalate tensions between Pakistan and India, noting that it played a crucial role in averting a major crisis in South Asia.

The Prime Minister also appreciated the U.S. President’s efforts toward peace in the Middle East, particularly in the conflict zones of Gaza and the West Bank.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his gratitude for President Trump’s support of the bilateral tariff agreement finalized earlier this year. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with the United States and extended an invitation to American investors to explore opportunities in Pakistan’s agriculture, information technology, mineral resources, and energy sectors.

Both leaders agreed on the importance of enhancing counterterrorism cooperation and improving regional security mechanisms. Prime Minister Sharif also thanked President Trump for his public acknowledgment of Pakistan’s role and sacrifices in the global fight against terrorism.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif formally invited President Donald Trump to undertake an official visit to Pakistan in the near future.
