Islamabad (Web Desk): Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Holds Important Meeting with Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, recently met with Ali Larijani, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, in Islamabad. The discussions focused on strengthening security cooperation between the two countries and addressing the current regional situation.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), both sides emphasized the need to bolster bilateral relations and take joint actions against terrorism. Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to peace and stability in the region and stressed the importance of expanding cooperation with Iran in counterterrorism efforts.

During the meeting, Ali Larijani acknowledged Pakistan's pivotal role in maintaining regional peace and expressed Iran’s desire to further strengthen its relationship with Pakistan.

The two leaders agreed that enhancing security cooperation between Pakistan and Iran would not only improve the security of both nations but also contribute to the overall stability of the region.
