Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) ongoing protest has intensified as thousands of supporters converged on Islamabad, led by top party figures including Khybe Pakhtunkhawa’s (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Bushra Bibi, and Omar Ayub Khan.

Despite heavy resistance from security forces, including clashes at key points such as Ghazi Brotha Bridge, PTI workers pushed through barricades and police shelling.

The rallies, originating from provinces, have sparked violent confrontations, with reports of injuries to police officers and the death of a constable.

While the government offered an alternative site for the protest, PTI insisted on heading to D Chowk, where tensions continue to rise.

Although there were talks between PTI leaders and the government, they have so far failed to yield any resolution.

As the situation unfolds, authorities have closed schools in the capital to ensure safety, while PTI remains determined to continue their march until their demands are met.
