Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Security forces have killed nine terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Kahan village of Balochistan’s Kohlu district, said military’s media wing on Saturday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), there was a fierce exchange of fire between the surrounded militants and security forces, in which nine were killed. It also added that three militants were also arrested in injured condition.
Earlier this month, security forces killed an important terrorist commander in a joint intelligence-based operation in general area Shakas of Khyber district.
The ISPR said during the conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists.
“Own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. Resultantly, Liaquat Ali alias Shaheen, an important terrorist commander, was killed. The killed terrorist was also propagated as a ‘missing person’,” the statement said.
