Washington (Web Desk): US President Donald Trump issued stern and significant statements regarding ongoing military operations against Iran, international politics and domestic affairs.
Criticizing certain segments of the media, President Trump stated that the United States is close to victory on the battlefield, and that opposing propaganda contradicts the facts.
He claimed that the US has completely neutralized Iran’s naval and air forces, leaving the country with virtually no defensive capability.
“Well I think we are going to end it. I can’t tell you for sure. I don’t like to say this we’ve won this. This war has been won. The only one that likes to keep it going is the fake news,” he said.
He said that based on fake news, a section of media is projecting the impression that America is losing the war, while the reality is quite the opposite: “We have ended eight wars around the world and are now on the verge of winning another.”
He further revealed that American forces successfully intercepted over 100 Iranian missiles aimed at critical targets.
President Trump said that B-2 bombers targeted Iranian nuclear facilities, effectively halting all efforts by Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.
Referring to the killing of General Qassem Soleimani, he stated that the move had already dealt an irreparable blow to Iran’s military leadership.
The US President said that Iran is now attempting behind-the-scenes negotiations but remains reluctant to engage openly.
He issued a clear warning that if Iranian leaders reject a deal, they will face severe consequences. Even if an agreement is reached, the leadership may encounter strong domestic backlash.
Turning to past administrations, President Trump blamed former presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden for policies that, in his view, harmed the country.
Addressing domestic issues, he noted that assigning immigration officials at airports has resolved flight delays, and National Guard units can be deployed if necessary.
He accused Democrats of failing to provide funding for Homeland Security, which, he said, negatively affected TSA personnel.
