Washington (Web Desk): U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth revealed during a Pentagon press briefing that the President ordered the most challenging military operation in history, which was successfully carried out by the armed forces.
He stated that the operation aimed to end the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict in the Middle East, and a ceasefire has since been established between the two nations.
According to Hegseth, a precise and effective strike was conducted on Iran’s nuclear facilities, resulting in their complete destruction. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Iranian Foreign Minister have both confirmed the severe damage to the installations.
The Defense Secretary criticized U.S. media for unfairly criticizing President Trump’s policies, adding that this achievement is a dream every U.S. president has aspired to and the nation should have celebrated this success.
Separately, U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Kain disclosed that Iran attempted to attack U.S. military bases in Qatar but was thwarted by a swift response from American forces with only two minutes’ warning. He added that the U.S. retaliated with a significant missile strike, though details remain classified.
