Islamabad (Web Desk): According to a recent survey, the majority of people in Bangladesh consider Pakistan a better friend compared to India. In a Gallup Pakistan survey, 46 percent of Bangladeshi respondents identified Pakistan as their close friend, while only 11 percent regarded India as a friend.
The survey also revealed that 47 percent of participants viewed India as an enemy. In the Pakistan-India conflict, the people of Bangladesh showed strong support for Pakistan, with 54 percent favoring Pakistan and only 9 percent siding with India.
Moreover, 46 percent of respondents believed Pakistan would emerge victorious in the Pakistan-India dispute, whereas only 6 percent acknowledged India’s superiority.
Pakistan remains at the top of the list of friendly countries for Bangladesh.
