Quetta (Web Desk): Security sources said that Afghan Taliban personnel tried to cross into Pakistani territory with the intention of carrying out an attack.
The attempt was met with a strong response from the Security Forces, who successfully thwarted the aggression and killed several Afghan Taliban personnel.
The said that intermittent exchange of fire between Security Forces and Afghan Taliban is still continuing, while troops remain fully alert and vigilant in the border area.
They added that the security forces are fully equipped and prepared to immediately counter any attempt by armed elements from Afghan territory to infiltrate Pakistan or engage in hostile activity.
