New York (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met his Singaporean counterpart, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, in New York today on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The two ministers took stock of Pakistan-Singapore relations and discussed opportunities to broaden collaboration in a range of areas of mutual interest.
They stressed that continued interaction and regular high-level visits could play an important role in building stronger ties and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting also covered regional and international issues that are of shared interest to both sides.
Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts to resolve regional challenges through dialogue and diplomatic means.
Both sides agreed to maintain regular communication and remain closely engaged on matters of common interest.
