Mardan (Web Desk): Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has reiterated that the Pakistan Army, together with the people, stands firm and resolute against any hostile actions by the enemy.
Speaking during an interaction with students and faculty members from different universities and religious seminaries in Khyber Pakhtukhawa’s (KP) Mardan, he emphasized that the country’s defense and stability rest on the strong bond between the armed forces and the nation.
In the discussion, the DG ISPR shed light on several pressing issues, including Marka-e-Haq, the ongoing tensions along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, and the overall security situation in the region.
He noted that Pakistan has undertaken decisive and effective measures to counter terrorism and eliminate the Khawarij who seek to disrupt peace.
Students and teachers paid rich tribute to the ghazis and martyrs of the armed forces, acknowledging their invaluable sacrifices for the defense and progress of the country.
They expressed their deep appreciation for the Pakistan Army’s efforts in safeguarding national peace and contributing to development.
Participants reaffirmed their unwavering solidarity with the armed forces, recognizing it as a shared duty of every citizen.
The session was attended by representatives from Abdul Wali Khan University, Women University Mardan, University of Engineering and Technology Mardan, and various religious seminaries.
