Tel Aviv / Tehran (Web Desk): Escalating tensions between Iran and Israel have taken a dangerous turn, with both sides engaging in retaliatory strikes that have intensified regional instability.

Following an Israeli attack on Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant, Tehran responded by launching missile strikes targeting Tel Aviv and its surrounding areas, leaving at least 12 Israeli civilians injured.

According to Israel’s emergency service, Magen David Adom, Iranian missiles hit the nearby cities of Bnei Brak and Givat Shmuel.

In Bnei Brak, a missile struck a residential area, causing severe damage to buildings. The upper section of a multi-storey structure collapsed, injuring nine people.

Among the wounded, a 23-year-old man is reported to be in critical condition after suffering injuries to his head and abdomen.

The Israeli military stated that, amid concerns over incoming threats from Iran, 12 air raid alerts were issued across the country during the evening.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization confirmed that an Israeli projectile landed within the premises of the Bushehr nuclear power plant.

However, officials said the facility’s technical components were not affected and that all staff members remained safe.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) also confirmed the incident, describing it as a clear violation of international law.
