Islamabad (Web Desk): The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-nominated candidate for the National Assembly (NA) and Provincial Assembly (PA) seats Sanam Javed has approached the Supreme Court (SC) challenging the rejection of her nomination papers.
Nomination papers of Sanma Javed were rejected in NA-119. NA-120 and PP-150.
It should be noted that Sanam Javed had moved the Lahore High Court (LHC) against the decision of the tribunal to uphold the decision of the Returning Officer (RO).
The PTI leader filed a petition in the SC after the nomination papers were also rejected by the LHC.
Meanwhile, Shaukat Basra has filed appeal against rejection of his nomination papers in NA-163.
The court has been requested through appeal pleas to annul the decisions of election tribunals.
