Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices continued their upward trend in Pakistan on Thursday, causing concern among investors.
According to the All Pakistan Saraf & Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of gold increased by Rs1,300, reaching Rs541,262.
The association said that rising tensions between Iran and the United States have been driving gold prices higher since February 18. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs 1,114, reaching Rs464,044.
In the international market, gold prices went up as well, with one ounce of gold rising by $13 to $5,185.
