California (Web Desk): Apple has announced that it will hold an event on March 4, where the company is expected to launch its most affordable new iPhone. While Apple has not officially confirmed the event’s focus, reports suggest the iPhone 16 E’s successor, likely named iPhone 17 E, will be unveiled.

The iPhone 17 E is anticipated to be Apple’s cheapest model for 2026, with a starting price of around $599. In terms of design, it will closely resemble the iPhone 16 E, but with notable upgrades.

A major change is expected in the selfie camera design. Unlike the iPhone 16 E, which features a notch, the iPhone 17 E will house the front camera within a Dynamic Island cutout.

The device is also expected to feature Apple’s new A19 processor, the same as in the iPhone 17, ensuring performance that is on par with its higher-end counterpart.

Other upgrades include MagSafe support, allowing for faster and more efficient wireless charging. While the iPhone 16 E offered basic wireless charging, the 17 E will support high-speed magnetic charging.

Connectivity improvements are also planned, with the introduction of the C1 X Mode modem for faster data speeds and energy efficiency, along with the N1 wireless chip for enhanced Wi-Fi and Bluetooth performance.

These updates make the iPhone 17 E a compelling budget-friendly option with many features previously reserved for higher-end models.
