All of these students come from distant cities and areas in the province, while some hail from outside Punjab.

Earlier this week, local police had given a final notice to hostel administration upon non-compliance of orders by admin staff after repeatedly negligence regarding hostel security.

For the moment, hostel administration declined to comment on the action.

According to Police notice, the hostels will not be allowed to reopen until provision of adequate security.
