Ringleader among 10 India-sponsored terrorists killed in KP, Balochistan IBOs: ISPR

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Security forces killed 10 Indian-sponsored terrorists, including including a “kharji ringleader”, in two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, the military’s media wing said on Thursday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), On December 24, 2025, Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in general area Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan District on reported presence of Khwarij.

“During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location. Resultantly, two Khwarij, including Kharji ring leader Dilawar, were sent to hell. Killed Kharji Dilawar was highly wanted by Law enforcement agencies due to his involvement in multiple terrorist activities and government had fixed head money of Rs4 million on him,” it said.

The statement added that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from killed khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as killing of innocent civilians.

The military’s media wing said sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored kharji found in the area as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

In a separate IBO in Balochistan’s Kalat district, security forces neutralised eight terrorists.

As per the ISPR, on December 24, 2025, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Kalat District of Balochistan, on reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Hindustan.

“During the conduct of operation, own forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense fire exchange, eight Indian sponsored terrorists were sent to hell,” the statement said.

It added that weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

The military’s media wing said that sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area.

“Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” the ISPR said.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed deep appreciation for the security forces following successful operations eliminating two Khawarij elements in KP’s Dera Ismail Khan and, killing killing eight terrorists linked to Fitna-al-Hindustan in Balochistan’s Kalat District, describing the actions as a strong step toward countering terrorism.

In separate messages released the same day, both leaders underscored that the struggle against terrorism is being fought with national unity, affirming that the people of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces in this ongoing battle.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that under the strategic vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, the armed forces continue to achieve significant victories in the ongoing fight against terrorism.

The prime minister stressed that the people of Pakistan remain united in support of the military’s efforts to safeguard the nation.

Reaffirming his commitment to national security, PM declared that the government will leave no stone unturned in eliminating every form and manifestation of terrorism from the country.
