Jeddah (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on Monday to take part in the 21st Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The high-level gathering is scheduled to be held later the same day at the OIC Secretariat in Jeddah.

Upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport, Senator Dar was welcomed by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the OIC, Ambassador Fawad Sher, along with Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Farooq, and Consul General in Jeddah, Khalid Majid.

This emergency meeting of OIC foreign ministers and top officials from member countries is convened to discuss a collective approach to the rapidly worsening situation in Palestine.

The agenda focuses on the ongoing Israeli military aggression in Gaza, reported plans to impose total military control over the territory, and the persistent and grave violations of the rights of the Palestinian people.

The session aims to build consensus among Muslim nations on how to respond effectively to these developments and to express unified support for the Palestinian cause amid the escalating crisis.
