Islamabad/Srinagar (Web Desk): India’s attempts to malign Pakistan through Pulwama drama backfired, exposing its own moral bankruptcy and leading to global embarrassment.
Sikh leader Gopal Singh Chawla alleged that the Pulwama episode was used by India as a pretext to justify hostile intentions against Pakistan.
Member of Parliament Charanjit Singh Channi also described the case as questionable and urged that the public be fully informed about the facts behind the incident.
Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge referred to it as a significant intelligence failure on the part of Indian agencies.
Indian media platform The Wire likewise questioned the narrative linking Pakistan to the Pulwama attack, pointing out that clear evidence had not been presented to support the claims.
Meanwhile, voices from Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) have also rejected the official version promoted by the Indian government.
In a video message filmed from the Pulwama site, a Kashmiri youth stated that the events there marked, in his words, a moment of embarrassment for India’s leadership.
He also expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s military leadership, saying the response from Pakistan’s armed forces was witnessed and acknowledged internationally.
The same statement further claimed that in the aftermath of the Pulwama incident, large numbers of Kashmiris were detained and several were killed in alleged staged encounters.
