Lahore (Web Desk): The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has filed a case against renowned YouTuber Rajab Butt for promoting gambling and betting apps. Rajab Butt is accused of encouraging the public to invest in gambling and betting apps through videos and advertisements on social media, leading to the loss of people’s hard-earned money.
According to the FIR filed by the NCCIA, Rajab Butt had also served as the brand ambassador for a popular betting app. Despite receiving multiple notices, he failed to appear for the inquiry, prompting legal action against him.
In connection with this case, the National Investigation Agency has also registered cases against two other YouTubers, Anas Ali and Harira, for promoting gambling.
