Fire breaks out at hotel in Lahore's gulberg area, 6 Injured

Lahore (Web Desk): A fire broke out at a hotel in Lahore's Gulberg area on Saturday, leading to the evacuation of all guests and staff members.

According to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Operations, Muhammad Faisal Kamran, six individuals were injured and have been rushed to Jinnah Hospital for treatment.

Kamran reported that the blaze started in the basement of the 17-floor hotel, which houses more than 300 staff members. Thanks to the swift response from rescue teams, the fire was quickly contained, and all individuals inside the hotel were successfully evacuated. He also mentioned that the exact cause of the fire would be investigated and confirmed that the situation was now under control.

At the time of the incident, the hotel was hosting a college event, and some people were stranded on the rooftop awaiting rescue. Emergency responders worked tirelessly to ensure everyone’s safety, and firefighting teams have been actively working to manage the fire.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
