Lahore Qalander lost to Peshawar Zalmi by 17 runs. Lahore Qalander never seems to be in league with the Peshawar Zalmi total of 167. Opener Dalport with his 32 seems to be going smooth but no one on the other end gave him any formidable support before he perished. With top batsmen scoring under 10 runs it was down the order Sunil Narine 21, Yamin 25 and Sohail Tanvir 35 which gave a formidable resistance but it was too late to recover.
Peshawar Zalmi 167 relied heavily on blitz of opener Kamran Akmal who registered 58 giving a firm start to Zalimi’s innings. Later Shakibul Hassan 30 and skipper Darren Sammy 17 added insult to the injuries of Lahore Qalander. Yasir Shah from Lahore Qalandar took 2 wickets for 19 runs from his four overs.
