DG ISPR visits GIKI, says Pakistan taking effective measures against Khawarij in Afghanistan

Swabi (Web Desk): The spokesperson of Pakistan Army and Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has reiterated that Pakistan has taken effective measures against the presence of foreign fighters in Afghanistan, specifically targeting the Khawarij.

He also reaffirmed that the Pakistan Army will continue to stand as a "solid wall" against any aggression from hostile forces in the future. He emphasized that the Army’s resolve to protect the nation's borders and ensure national security remains strong and unwavering.

Lt Gen Chaudhry shared these thoughts during his visit to the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in Topi, Swabi. During the visit, he also discussed the recent Pakistan-Afghanistan border clashes, the current security situation, and the role of social media in shaping public perception.

He further stated that Pakistan's youth are key to the country's bright future and play an essential role in its development and prosperity. He urged students to stay committed to the nation’s progress, highlighting the importance of their contributions in shaping a positive future for Pakistan.

The students and faculty at the university paid a heartfelt tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Armed Forces.

The students emphasized the need for more purposeful interactions and discussions to counter misinformation and propaganda.

They also stressed that the nation holds the Pakistan Army in high regard, and takes immense pride in its sacrifices for peace efforts and national development.

The session also included an interactive segment where students posed questions, to which Lieutenant General Chaudhry provided detailed answers.
