Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold has surged again, with per tola gold rising by Rs2,000 to a record high of Rs285,400 on Wednesday, up from Rs283,400 on the last trading day.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), for 10 grams of 24 karat gold, the price increased by Rs1,714, bringing it to Rs244,684, compared to Rs242,970 previously. Meanwhile, the cost of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also went up, now priced at Rs224,294, up from Rs222,722.
Meanwhile, silver prices also saw a rise, with per tola silver increasing by Rs200 to Rs3,350, while the price for 10 grams of silver rose by Rs171.46 to reach Rs2,872.08.
Moreover, in the international market, gold prices climbed by $20, moving from $2,737 to $2,757.
