Islamabad (Web Desk): Official Secrets Act Special Court, on Monday, indicted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former premie Imran Khan and party's vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi in cipher case.

Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain of the Official Secret Act Special Court heard the cipher Case in Adiala Jail and indicted the PTI leaders. However, the PTI chairman and vice chairman pleaded not guilty.

The PTI lawyer's team led by Naeem Haider Panjotha was present, while the FIA team was also present in the court with the complete case record.

The court rejected PTI Chairman's pleas to stay the indictment and to defer the charge-sheet, saying that today was the date set for the indictment, the indictment is being filed.

The court summoned the witnesses in the case on October 27. Later, the hearing of the cipher case was adjourned till October 27.

It should be remembered that October 17 was fixed as the date for the indictment of the two leaders but at that time the objection was raised by the PTI lawyers about not providing copies of the challan, following which the court had fixed October 23 (Monday) for indictment.

On the occasion of the hearing today, strict security arrangements were made outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi and additional police force was deployed.
