Lahore: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri boycotted general election 2018.
“PAT will not contest general election 2018, therefore he directs party candidates to take their nomination papers back from Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), “said Tahir-ul-Qadri during his press conference here in Lahore.
“There are many flaws in electoral system of Pakistan,” he said adding that ECP should make people aware regarding article 62 and 63.
“We are waging war for corruption free politics, but some political parties are creating hurdles for us in this matter,” Qadri said.
It is to be noted that general election 2018 will be conducted in the country on 25 July, in which all political and religious parties will participate.
