Quetta (Web Desk): At least six terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) carried out by security forces in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung district, Balochistan.
According to security sources, the operation was launched on the basis of credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area.
The sources said several other suspects were arrested during the operation, including terrorist facilitators as well as male and female suicide bombers.
Security forces also destroyed multiple terrorist hideouts during the raid and recovered a large cache of weapons, ammunition and other militant equipment from the sites.
The operation was launched after recent terrorist attacks in the Khad Kocha area, prompting security forces to intensify intelligence-based operations across the region.
Security sources said intelligence-driven operations are continuing in different parts of Balochistan, with efforts being stepped up to dismantle terrorist networks and bring those involved in militant activities to justice.
