Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Thursday after witnessing a continuous upward trend for the past two days.
According to market data, the price of gold dropped by Rs1,800 per tola, bringing the new rate down to Rs432,036 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,543, settling at Rs370,401.
A day earlier, gold prices had surged by Rs4,600 per tola, reaching Rs433,836, while on Tuesday, the precious metal had also gained Rs4,700 per tola to reach Rs429,236.
In the international market, gold prices also witnessed a decline, falling by $18 to $4,096 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also dropped, with the price per tola decreasing by Rs33 to Rs6,370.
Experts attributed the decline in precious metal prices to fluctuations in global markets, changes in the dollar exchange rate, and broader economic factors.
