Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan has taken a firm stance in response to recent attempts by the Taliban regime to initiate contact following airstrikes in Afghanistan.

According to diplomatic sources, Islamabad has made it clear that no request or appeal will be considered until concrete action is taken against terrorist groups.

Officials emphasized that any future negotiations will have a single agenda: the elimination of terrorism. They noted that the Taliban have previously failed to honor their commitments, making mere assurances insufficient for trust moving forward.

Pakistan has also warned that any recurrence of terrorist activity originating from Afghan territory will be met with a decisive response, with militant hideouts targeted directly.

In line with this posture, borders with Afghanistan and cross-border trade will remain suspended for the time being.
