Tehran (Web Desk): Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has emphasised the importance of expanding economic and regional cooperation with Pakistan, particularly in trade, energy, tourism and joint investment.
He expressed these views during a meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Tehran.
President Pezeshkian said Iran and Pakistan could fulfil some of their respective needs by making greater use of the resources and potential available within the region.
Mohsin Naqvi, meanwhile, said relations between Islamabad and Tehran were currently at a high level and reaffirmed Pakistan’s willingness to further broaden cooperation between the two countries.
