Tehran (Web Desk): Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that significant progress has been achieved toward ending the ongoing conflict in Lebanon, while maritime restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz have also been lifted.

According to Araghchi, the outcome of recent negotiations also includes an agreement on the restoration of Iran’s frozen assets.

He described the development as an important step toward rebuilding trust between the concerned parties.

The Iranian foreign minister also shared a joint statement issued by Pakistan and Qatar on social media, which emphasized efforts to reduce regional tensions, strengthen diplomatic engagement, and ensure the security of key trade routes.

The statement highlighted a collective commitment to promoting stability, expanding dialogue, and safeguarding maritime and commercial pathways in the region.

Analysts say that the restoration of free maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is a positive development for global energy markets.

They further suggest that progress on Iran’s frozen assets and diplomatic movement regarding Lebanon could open new pathways for regional stability and long-term de-escalation.
