Washington (Web Desk): US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has stated that the United States remains open to dialogue with Iran, and the offer for negotiations is still on the table. He warned that Iran should not attempt to outsmart President Trump.
In an interview, Rubio emphasized that the current situation is not a war against Iran. “The world is now safer and more stable than it was 24 hours ago,” he said. He also cautioned that any retaliatory move by Iran would be a serious mistake.
Rubio revealed that Iran previously had all the components necessary to develop nuclear weapons, including a stockpile of highly enriched uranium sufficient to build at least nine to ten atomic bombs. However, he noted, that capability has now been dismantled.
He urged China to engage with Iran over the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and clarified that there is no evidence indicating China’s involvement in the recent developments.
