Rain, windstorm and thundershowers expected in several parts of Pakistan

Lahore (Web Desk): The Meteorological Department has forecast widespread intermittent rain, windstorms and thundershowers in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Islamabad, Punjab, northeastern Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to the weather forecast, several areas are likely to experience cloudy conditions along with rainfall and gusty winds during the day.

The temperature in major cities has been recorded as follows: Islamabad 24°C, Lahore 27°C, Karachi 29°C, Peshawar 26°C, Quetta 23°C, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad 21°C, while Murree is expected to remain at 15°C.

For Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather with chances of rain, strong winds and thundershowers has been predicted in Srinagar, Baramulla, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag and Shopian.

The forecast temperatures for these areas are: Srinagar, Anantnag and Baramulla 19°C, Jammu 25°C, Leh 9°C, while Pulwama and Shopian are expected to record 18°C.
