Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan and Russia have reiterated their resolve to enhance bilateral cooperation in trade, energy, connectivity, and other important sectors while also improving coordination at international forums.
The commitment was expressed during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Manila ahead of the 33rd ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) Ministerial Meeting.
During the meeting, the two foreign ministers reviewed the progress of Pakistan-Russia relations and highlighted the significance of continued high-level interactions in further developing the bilateral partnership.
Both sides emphasized the need to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest and strengthen collaboration through regular engagement.
The two leaders also exchanged views on major regional and global developments and agreed to remain closely connected to advance shared objectives.
