Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Ten terrorists were killed in a series of intelligence-based operations conducted by security forces across various areas of Balochistan over the past 48 hours, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The military’s media wing said security forces targeted terrorist hideouts in District Surab, where seven militants were eliminated during an operation.

In another operation in District Mastung, three terrorists were killed, while two female suicide bombers and their facilitator were arrested.

The arrested individuals were reportedly linked to the Indian-sponsored group Fitna al Hindustan.

A significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) used for terrorist activities was recovered from the militants, ISPR added.

The operations are part of ongoing efforts by security forces against terrorist networks associated with Fitna al Hindustan and Fitna al Khwarij.

Joint operations are being carried out across Balochistan to dismantle remaining elements of terrorist groups and their support networks.

Security forces are also conducting sanitisation operations in the affected areas to ensure no other foreign-sponsored militants remain active.

The ISPR said the counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, will continue with full determination to eliminate the threat of foreign-backed terrorism from Pakistan.
