Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold witnessed a notable uptick, with its per tola value rising by Rs1,000 to reach Rs308,000 on Saturday, compared to the previous day’s price of Rs307,000.
According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold saw an increase of Rs857, moving from Rs263,203 to Rs264,060, while the price of 22-karat gold for the same weight grew by Rs785, climbing to Rs242,063 from Rs241,278.
In contrast, the silver market experienced a decline, with the per tola price of silver falling by Rs50 to Rs3,380.
The price for 10 grams of silver also dropped by Rs43, reducing from Rs2,940 to Rs2,897.
Global market trends contributed to these shifts, with gold prices rising by $6 to $2,936, while silver experienced a slight dip of $0.5, reaching $32.44.
