Baghdad (Web Desk): During his ongoing four-day visit to Iraq, President Asif Ali Zardari took time on Monday to visit several sacred shrines, beginning with those of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA) and Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa (RA).
The president, who is on a four-day visit to Iraq, also visited the shrines of Imam Musa al-Kazim and Imam Muhammad al-Taqi al-Jawad (AS) at Kazimiya.
At each shrine, President Zardari offered Fateha and prayed earnestly for the unity, peace, and safety of the Muslim Ummah.
While at Kazimiya, he left a heartfelt note in the visitors’ book, highlighting that the wisdom and teachings of the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) remain an enduring source of knowledge, patience, and moral guidance.
President Zardari also held meetings with the custodians and religious scholars at all the shrines, reflecting on the significance of their teachings and the role of these sacred sites in promoting spiritual and communal harmony.
