California (Web Desk): Instagram has rolled out a new feature that allows users to link multiple Reels videos together, creating a seamless viewing experience for their audience.
With this feature, users can divide longer content into shorter parts and post them separately while linking them as a connected series. Viewers will be able to watch the videos in order — much like episodes of a drama — moving from part one to two, three, and so on.
The feature is designed for both new and previously posted Reels, allowing creators to go back and link older related content to new uploads. This is especially useful for those creating content based on specific themes or storytelling formats.
However, the feature will not be available for Reels restricted to subscribers or content shared only with "Close Friends."
Using the feature is simple: while posting a new Reel, users will see the "Link a Reel" option below the caption box, which lets them connect other videos. For previously uploaded Reels, users can go into the video’s settings and select “Add Linked Reels.”
This update aims to help creators offer more structured content while making it easier for viewers to follow along with multi-part stories or tutorials.
