Islamabad: The Supreme Court on Tuesday disposed of a case against Maryam Nawaz after the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) withdrew its appeal seeking cancelation of PML-N vice president's bail in Shamim Sugar Mills case.
A three member bench of the top court headed by Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandiyal heard the NAB petition for cancellation of Maryam Nawaz bail. NAB submitted a written response taking a position of withdrawing their petition against Maryam Nawaz bail
During hearing chief justice asked NAB prosecutor to read written response, NAB special prosecutor informed the court that the case against Maryam Nawaz has ended after the recent amendments in NAB laws.
The court disposed of the case.
