Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices declined in the domestic market on Monday, with the rate of 24-karat gold dropping by Rs2,700 per tola to reach Rs457,536, according to the latest rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The downward trend was also reflected in the 10-gram rates, as 24-karat gold became cheaper by Rs2,315, bringing its price to Rs392,263. Similarly, the rate of 22-karat gold for 10 grams fell by Rs2,122 to Rs359,587.
In the global market, gold also recorded a decline, losing $27 to trade at $4,350 per ounce, the association said.
Meanwhile, domestic silver rates showed no change, with the price of one tola holding steady at Rs7,100. The rate for 10 grams of silver also remained unchanged at Rs6,087.
Internationally, silver prices continued to hold their previous level at $66.22 per ounce, according to the association.
