Islamabad (Web Desk): British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott called on Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif in Islamabad on Thursday.
During the meeting, the defence minister reiterated Pakistan’s strong interest in further broadening and strengthening its bilateral ties with the United Kingdom (UK).
The two sides also discussed matters of mutual concern and exchanged views on a range of shared interests.
They agreed to keep up constructive dialogue in the future and to work together towards deepening the long-established partnership between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
