Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad, where they discussed ways to further strengthen the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and China.
During the meeting, Ambassador Hashmi briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on developments related to Pakistan-China bilateral cooperation and ongoing diplomatic engagements between the two countries.
Ishaq Dar instructed the ambassador to actively pursue and follow up on the understandings reached during his recent discussions with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Shanghai.
He emphasized the importance of translating these discussions into practical outcomes that could further enhance cooperation between Islamabad and Beijing.
The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted that Pakistan remains committed to deepening its All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership with China and called for greater efforts to expand collaboration across multiple sectors.
He particularly stressed the need to promote cooperation in trade, investment, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and other areas of mutual benefit.
Dar noted that stronger economic and technological ties would play a significant role in advancing shared goals and creating new opportunities for both countries.
The meeting reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to maintaining close coordination with China and exploring new avenues of cooperation to further strengthen bilateral relations.
