Gold price increases by Rs3,600, reaches to Rs361,200 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices witnessed a notable surge on Monday as the cost of 24-karat gold per tola climbed by Rs3,600, reaching Rs361,200, up from Rs357,600 recorded on the previous trading day.

This increase was reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA).

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also rose significantly, gaining Rs3,087 to settle at Rs309,671, compared to Rs306,584 earlier. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up accordingly, reaching Rs283,865.

Despite the fluctuations in gold, silver prices remained stable. The per tola rate for silver stayed unchanged at Rs4,012, while the cost of 10 grams held firm at Rs3,439.

On the global front, gold experienced an upswing in value as well, with international prices increasing by $36 to reach $3,387, compared to the earlier figure of $3,351. In addition, the price of silver in the international market moved up to $38.65, as per the association’s report.
