Lahore (Web Desk): Leading Pakistani universities and professionals were recognised for their outstanding contributions to education, entrepreneurship, business innovation and social services at the Excellence Awards ceremony organised by the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP) at Punjab Governor's House Lahore.
Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, Higher Education Commission Chairman Professor Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, APSUP Chairman Professor Dr Chaudhry Abdul Rehman and other prominent figures attended the ceremony.
Heads of several leading universities, including Quaid-e-Azam University, University of the Punjab, Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), COMSATS University, University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore and Government College University Faisalabad, were honoured with Academic Excellence Awards in recognition of their achievements and contributions to the higher education sector.
The event provided a platform for leaders from the education and business sectors to come together, celebrate notable achievements and reaffirm their commitment to contributing to Pakistan’s progress and building a brighter future for the country.
