Islamabad (Web Desk): Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has announced that following the new agreement, the number of Pakistani military personnel stationed in Saudi Arabia will increase, and the deal will also bolster Pakistan’s economic stability.

Speaking to a private news channel, Khawaja Asif described the agreement as historic and credited it as a result of a major victory for truth and justice.

He added that although Pakistan had entered into several defense agreements over the past 75 years, assistance was lacking during difficult times. T

he minister emphasized that this new pact will lead to an expansion of Pakistani forces in Saudi Arabia and hinted at the possibility of similar defense partnerships with other countries.

 He noted that those who do not wish well for Pakistan are displeased with the agreement.

Khawaja Asif also recalled that the Saudi Crown Prince reminded him that in 1971, Saudi Arabia had provided Karachi with two gunboats.
