Abu Dhabi (Web Desk): Pakistan women’s cricket team endured another setback in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup as Bangladesh Women secured a 23-run victory, marking Pakistan’s third straight loss in the tournament.
Batting first, Bangladesh Women posted a total of 123 runs in their allotted overs. In response, Pakistan Women struggled in the chase and were bowled out for 100 runs, falling short of the target.
Muniba Ali top-scored for Pakistan with 25 runs, while Gull Feroza contributed 23 runs. However, the rest of the batting lineup failed to deliver, with six batters unable to reach double figures.
Following this defeat, Pakistan Women slipped to fifth place in their group standings, further weakening their chances of progressing in the tournament.
