Washington (Web Desk): US Vice President JD Vance has said that discussions with Iran are progressing positively and that talks could take place on Sunday.
In an interview, Vance stated that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are currently in Switzerland for negotiations with Iran, and that overall engagement with Tehran is going well.
He added that he may also travel to Switzerland, with a visit expected in the coming days, and expressed optimism that a ceasefire could be maintained.
JD Vance further said that the US is giving diplomacy with Iran a chance and noted that there is no evidence indicating that Iran is planning to close the Strait of Hormuz.
