Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold per tola experienced a decline of Rs1,595 on Friday, trading at Rs357,000 compared to Rs358,595 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs1,368, bringing it down to Rs306,069 from its earlier rate of Rs307,437.
The price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also saw a decrease, falling by Rs1,254 to reach Rs280,573 from Rs281,827.
Silver prices also recorded a downward trend. The rate of silver per tola decreased by Rs24, settling at Rs3,796, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs21 to Rs3,254.
On the international front, gold prices declined by $16, with the new rate standing at $3,356 as compared to the previous $3,372. Silver prices in the global market also dipped by $0.24, reaching $36.13, as reported by the Association.
