Lahore (Web Desk): Najam Sethi on Monday night announced to pull himself out of the race to become chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
In a post on Twitter, the PCB's interim Management Committee chairman wrote that he did not want to be a bone of contention between Shehaz Sharif and Asif Zardari.
"Such instability and uncertainty is not good for PCB. Under the circumstances I am not a candidate for Chairmanship of PCB. Good luck to all stakeholders," he wrote.
As per the reports, the development comes as government's key ally Pakistan People Party (PPP) wanted Zaka Ashraf to return to the post.
