New York (Web Desk): The United Nations (UN) has issued a stern warning regarding the escalating hunger crisis in Gaza. According to UNICEF, 77% of Gaza's population, or at least 1.6 million people, are facing severe food insecurity, with over 100,000 children experiencing acute malnutrition and hunger.

UNICEF, along with other UN agencies, has stated that while the situation has shown some improvement following the recent ceasefire, and no area has been officially declared famine-stricken, the improvement remains fragile. The agencies have cautioned that unless large-scale humanitarian aid is delivered immediately, millions of people could be at risk of falling back into famine conditions.

The urgent plea from the UN highlights the ongoing vulnerability of Gaza’s population and the critical need for sustained international support to prevent further deterioration.
