Islamabad (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari has sent his greetings to the government and people of Nepal as the country marks its Constitution Day and National Day.
According to a news release issued by the presidency, in his letter to Nepali President Ramchandra Paudel, President Zardari said Pakistan and Nepal have maintained friendly relations for many years, supported by mutual respect, trust and goodwill, as well as strong ties between their people.
He reaffirmed that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Nepal and values cooperation with the country bilaterally, within South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and in other multilateral forums.
President Zardari also expressed confidence that the existing friendship between Pakistan and Nepal would continue to strengthen and broaden in the coming years, bringing greater mutual benefit to both countries and their peoples.
